Iranian president plans official visit to Kazakhstan

(MENAFN) Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled to make an official visit to Astana, Kazakhstan, on December 10–11, according to Kazakhstan’s presidential press office.

During the visit, Pezeshkian will hold high-level discussions with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, focusing on boosting cooperation between the two countries in trade, economic development, transportation, logistics, as well as cultural and humanitarian initiatives.

Officials also noted that Pezeshkian plans to visit Turkmenistan in the near future, as confirmed by Iran’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ali Mojtaba Rouzbahani.
