Senior Iranian Official Gets Injured in US-Israeli Attack on His Home

(MENAFN) A top Iranian foreign policy official was critically injured in a US-Israel strike targeting his home in Tehran, according to reports.

The reports identified the official as Kamal Kharrazi.

Kharrazi had served as a senior adviser to the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and continued in this advisory role under the new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, US and Israel have conducted an ongoing air offensive on Iran since February 28, resulting in more than 1,340 deaths, including former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations hosting US military assets, causing casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruption to global markets and aviation.
